Kelvin J. Pennington has been the Managing Principal of Pennington Partners & Co. ("PPC") since 1990. PPC and its affiliate partnerships provide private equity investment management and financial consulting services to lower middle market sized companies. PPC's private equity investment activities include originating, structuring and financing small and middle-market leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, consolidation build-ups and other growth companies. From 1982 to 1990, Mr. Pennington worked for Prudential Capital Corporation in various capacities including Vice President of Corporate Finance responsible for originating, managing and ultimately selling investments in middle market leveraged buyouts.
Mr. Pennington received a B.S. in Industrial Management from Purdue University in 1980 and an M.B.A. degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 1982. Mr. Pennington is a member of the Board of Directors of the Purdue Research Foundation and is a member of the Dean's Advisory Council of Purdue University Krannert School of Management. Mr. Pennington is also a member of the AICPA and the Illinois CPA Society.
