Mr. Markey is a C-Level Marketing and General Management executive with nearly 25 years of Professional experience, across a number of industries domestically and internationally. Maurice was most recently the Chief Operating Officer of GTECH Indiana, the Private Manager of the Hoosier Lottery and subsidiary of global Gaming firm GTECH. Previously, Maurice was Vice President, Proprietary Brands at Walmart’s Sam’s Club, serving as the executive business leader of the $7.5B Private Brands Portfolio. Prior to Sam’s Club, Mr. Markey was Vice President Marketing at Kraft Foods and was responsible for General Management and Marketing within the $4B Grocery Business Unit. Maurice spent 14 years with Kraft Foods, holding several positions of leadership in Marketing, Strategy and New Products in the U.S. and Asia. He spent his formative professional years with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and Eli Lilly in the areas of Engineering and Manufacturing Operations. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
